WHAT WE NEED

Bopat Electric is hiring experienced Commercial Electrical Foremen to lead commercial electrical construction projects throughout Maryland. This position is ideal for Journeyman Electricians and Commercial Electricians with proven leadership experience who are ready to lead crews, coordinate field operations, and drive projects to successful completion.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Lead and supervise commercial electricians, apprentices, and electrical crews on active construction projects
  • Plan daily work, manpower, materials, and job site activities to keep projects on schedule and productive
  • Oversee commercial electrical installations, including conduit, switchgear, panelboards, lighting, power distribution, motor controls, and low-voltage systems
  • Ensure all work meets safety standards, NEC requirements, project specifications, and quality expectations
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, customers, and other trades while maintaining job documentation and reports
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications while mentoring and developing apprentices

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Active Maryland Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent Journeyman License from a reciprocating state 
  • 5+ years of commercial electrical construction experience, including experience leading electricians, apprentices, and field crews
  • Experience overseeing commercial electrical projects ranging from $100K to $2M+
  • Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, including conduit, switchgear, panelboards, power distribution, lighting, motor controls, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, specifications, and one-line diagrams
  • Proven ability to plan work, coordinate manpower and materials, and maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards on commercial construction projects
  • Strong understanding of NEC requirements, commercial construction practices, and job site safety standards
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
  • Valid driver's license

Compensation ranges may vary based on individual experience.
