We are seeking an instructor to provide hands-on teaching building on the foundational skills established in Carpentry 1, this advanced course prepares students for real-world careers in the construction and woodworking trades. Students will tackle challenging hands-on projects using professional-grade tools and industry-standard techniques that mirror real job-site expectations.
Students who successfully complete the program will be well-positioned to pursue apprenticeships, entry-level employment, or continued education in construction management, contracting, or the skilled trades.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1-3 years experience in construction and/or construction teaching experience
  • Teaching experience (preferred)
  • Excellent written and technical communication skills

CLASS ASSIGNMENT:
  • Carpentry II
  • Tuesday evenings for 12 sessions, 3 hours per session, beginning in Spring 2027
  • $40 per hour; 40 Total Hours, benefits n/a
