Job description

Sideworx Connect offers positions for both employees and independent contractors. We specialize in placing short-term and seasonal employees, allowing you control over your schedule and a chance to explore a multitude of projects.

We're seeking skilled Electricians (Journeyman & Apprentices) to join our roster.

Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials is required. Preference will be given to those with experience in installing & dismantling modular camp / structures. These positions will require you to be available for remote project work for multiple weeks. Successful candidates must be willing to travel and work across Western Canada.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

  • Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
  • Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
  • Competence in safely lifting, carrying, and moving construction materials, tools, and equipment
  • Ability to read technical documents and drawings
  • Ability to take direction and follow instructions to support a safe work environment
  • Proficiency in basic math for calculating material needs, costs, and measurements
  • Ability to work meticulously and pay close attention to detail to achieve high-quality work and ensure client satisfaction
  • Physical stamina with the capability of performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials, standing for long periods, and working in various positions
  • Ability to work outdoor in all weather conditions
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License with reliable transportation is an asset
