Job description

PART-TIME REFERRAL OPPORTUNITY FOR PSYCHOLOGIST
Outlaw Group is seeking a South Carolina-licensed psychologist or other qualified mental health professional interested in conducting pre-employment psychological evaluations for law enforcement agencies.
The work would be performed on a flexible, per-candidate basis. This could be an ideal opportunity for a retired or semi-retired psychologist who maintains an active license and would like a limited, part-time caseload.
Extensive law enforcement experience is not required. However, the evaluator must:
  • Be qualified to administer and interpret clinical psychological assessments.
  • Be willing to become familiar with South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy requirements for law enforcement evaluations.
  • Conduct the required candidate interview and appropriate psychological testing.
  • Provide the agency with a clear written suitability determination.
  • Maintain appropriate confidentiality, records, and professional liability coverage.

This is not employment or contract work for Outlaw Group. Outlaw Group would refer interested law enforcement agencies to the evaluator. The evaluator would contract with, bill, report to, and be professionally responsible directly to each agency.
Additional information on specific requirements available. Interested professionals should provide a résumé or brief professional background, license information, availability, and approach.
