MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented mid-level Maritime Contract Specialist to join our team in Oahu, HI.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Drafts and develops maritime contract agreements, modifications, and non-disclosure agreements for senior-level review and coordination
  • Maintains detailed records of vessel status and facilitates communication between the prime contractor and maritime vendor partners
  • Prepares routine reports on maritime transport capacity and delivery metrics for Mission Partners
  • Develops and maintains standard operating procedures for managing maritime platform work hours, travel, and issue resolution
  • Facilitates the movement of supplies via maritime platforms by ensuring all access, basing, and overflight clearances are processed
  • Prepares maritime status updates for inclusion in the unclassified document library and management portal
  • Takes direction, guidance, and mentoring from more senior staff

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • 3+ years of position-relevant experience
  • Proficiency in federal procurement and maritime law

Desired Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a related field
  • 7+ years of position-relevant experience
  • Experience with international maritime Dangerous Goods codes

Security Clearance Requirements:
  • Must possess active Public Trust clearance

Physical Requirements:
  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers via email, phone, and virtual communication which may involve delivering presentations
