Position Summary
SURVICE Engineering is currently seeking a Wireless Technician to support our Aberdeen Research Operation. You will accelerate your career and become an integral team member within the defense community.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities of Wireless Technician
  • Working onsite at the Muscatatuck Training Center (MuTC), the Wireless Technician will:
  • Support the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of radio frequency (RF) and wireless communication systems in operational and training environments.
  • Install, operate, and maintain radio equipment.
  • Support wireless communications and RF operational activities.
  • Perform signal planning and RF analysis to determine power requirements and equipment placement.
  • Assist with system configuration, testing, and diagnostics.
  • Troubleshoot RF and wireless communication issues.
  • Support operational readiness, maintenance, and sustainment activities.

Minimum Qualifications of Wireless Technician
High School Diploma and 5+ years of relevant experience. Candidates are not required to possess all qualifications; is you possess some of the desired qualifications, please apply.
Desired Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years installing, operating, and maintaining various radio equipment ranging from HF to EHF.
  • Demonstrated experience with signal planning and RF analysis to determine proper location and radio transmission power requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting RF issues.
