You will be working closely with a talented team to deliver a complex RF ground systems software application into operations. Our ideal candidate is a DevSecOps Engineer who is a hard-charging self-starter that can come onto a team and begin to produce quickly. You should have an advanced understanding of Kubernetes, containerization, automated test, and deployment pipelines, with a focus on RF ground systems Responsibilities: * Design, implement, and manage RF ground systems infrastructure using tools like Kubernetes and GitLab.
* Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure consistent and secure cloud infrastructure deployments.
* Scripting and Automation: Write and maintain scripts in Python or Shell to automate RF ground system processes and enhance operational efficiency.
* Cloud Security: Apply enterprise security design principles to RF ground systems workflow, ensuring that security is an integral part of the development process.
* Incident Response: Participate in incident response activities, identifying and mitigating security threats in real-time.
* Compliance and Audits: Ensure that all DevSecOps practices comply with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
* Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to foster a culture of shared responsibility for security. Qualifications: Required: * Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field or 4 years of directly related work experience in lieu of a degree
* 5+ years of Infrastructure/DevOps experience with a focus on RF ground systems
* Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and engagement with virtual or remote teams
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Strong understanding of Kubernetes and deploying RF applications to Kubernetes clusters
* Experience with using Helm charts to deploy software to Kubernetes clusters (e.g., Argo CD)
* Strong experience with at least one of the major cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
* Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and tools (GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
* Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python, GitHub workflows)
* IAT Level II or III certification (i.e., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CASP+)
* Active TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance with required Polygraph Preferred: * Working knowledge of Scrum and Agile software development methodology
* Familiarity with government risk management framework (RMF) processes
* Experience with container tools (Docker, Podman) and container orchestration
* Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
* Basic understanding of observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or similar
