Job description

Job Title

This position is responsible for developing, integrating, testing, and maintaining existing and new applications; knowing one or more programming languages; knowing one or more development methodologies / delivery models. This is a contract to hire position based out of Chicago and Dallas location as the resource is expected to be in the office for 3 days.

Job Duties

This position is responsible for developing, integrating, testing, and maintaining existing and new applications; knowing one or more programming languages; knowing one or more development methodologies / delivery models.

  • Leadership – Must be able to lead a development team and work directly with individual developers to maintain continuity of development within the team
  • Coordination – Must be able to work across multiple teams and outside of immediate teams to maintain architectural direction within the Program
  • Technical – Must be able to take Architectural direction and turn that direction into design patterns and coding standards for an Enterprise Application
  • Technical - Must be able to conduct code reviews and ensure adherence of all development artifacts to design and coding patterns
  • Rapid prototyping.
  • SDLC Methodology (Agile / Scrum / Iterative Development).
  • System performance management.
  • Systems change / configuration management.

Job Requirements

Bachelor Degree and 4 years Information Technology experience OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 6 year Information Technology experience OR 8 years Information Technology experience. Extensive Java experience and traditional app languages? Experience with Java, Spring REST, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, SOAP services, Hibernate? BackboneJS, AngularJS, ReactJS, BootStrap JS etc. (Hands on experience working on Responsive UI a must)? Experience in web technologies (HTML/CSS/Java/ASP.Net/PHP/Ruby/C).? Extensive experience in RDBMS?

Experience with automated testing tools (Junit/Jasmine/Karma)? Experience in Azure? Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to architect complex systems? Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.? A burning desire to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment and grow professionally
