Department:  Front of House                      
Reports To:  Director of Sales > General Manager              
Pay: 
$60K - $70K / year +  Commission (1.5 % on booked events | OTE $100k - $110k)

Position Overview

The Sales & Events Coordinator is responsible for driving private dining, event sales, community engagement, and brand growth through relationship-building, strategic outreach, and exceptional hospitality. This role blends sales, event coordination, marketing, and guest relations into one highly visible position that plays a major role in expanding the restaurant’s presence within the local community and beyond.
The ideal candidate is hospitality-driven, sales-minded, highly organized, and operationally aware. They should be proficient in event planning and execution, with a proven track record of successfully selling and coordinating weddings, social celebrations, corporate events, and private dining experiences. The successful candidate excels at building genuine relationships, creating memorable guest experiences, and confidently managing multiple events from initial inquiry through flawless execution.

Key Responsibilities


Event Sales & Client Relations

  • Respond to private dining, large party, and event inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Conduct site tours and build relationships with prospective clients, local businesses, and community partners
  • Create customized event proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders based on client needs and operational capabilities
  • Manage the full booking process from initial inquiry through post-event follow-up and guest retention
  • Maintain and grow a strong network of corporate, social, VIP, and community clientele
  • Actively pursue new business opportunities and assist in achieving monthly and quarterly revenue goals
  • Maintain strong communication with clients to ensure expectations are exceeded throughout the planning process
Event Coordination & Execution

  • Coordinate logistics for private events, large parties, buyouts, activations, and special experiences
  • Communicate event details clearly with culinary, operations, bar, and management teams to ensure smooth execution
  • Oversee onsite event execution and maintain service standards throughout the guest experience
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients during events and assist with guest relations as needed
  • Support floor presence during high-volume services, community activations, and special events
  • Anticipate operational challenges and work proactively to ensure successful execution
Brand Development

  • Collaborate with leadership on marketing campaigns, promotions, partnerships, and brand activations
  • Assist with social media planning, event promotion, and content coordination
  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, hotels, concierge teams, influencers, and community organizations
  • Help coordinate photoshoots, influencer dinners, media opportunities, and promotional events
  • Monitor local market trends, guest behavior, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
  • Contribute creative ideas that help strengthen brand identity, community presence, and guest engagement
Administrative & CRM Management

  • Maintain accurate client records, booking notes, and event tracking within CRM and event management systems
  • Generate sales reports and assist leadership in monitoring booking trends and performance metrics
  • Track contracts, deposits, payment schedules, and event timelines with strong attention to detail
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial organization related to events
