Job description

  • Provide overall direction and guidance to the organization's procurement activities
  • Provide strategic leadership and management for individuals supporting procurement projects, programs, and systems
  • Support company growth, savings, and transformational initiatives
  • Develop departmental strategies aligned with enterprise targets
  • Ensure targets and operational needs are met
  • Ensure operational excellence through standardization, risk assessment, and review of key metrics
  • Oversee multiple request-for-quote/request-for-proposal projects simultaneously
  • Monitor category spending and recommend new cost‑saving projects
  • Provide final negotiation support for new contracts
  • Oversee transition and rollout of executed agreements, contracts, MSAs, and programs to operational or functional support leaders
  • Develop KPIs and OKRs to track compliance with procurement initiatives
  • Lead talent selection and development initiatives and foster associate engagement
  • Work within a complex matrixed environment
  • Collaborate with Operations, Human Resources, Sales, and Finance
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Logistics, or equivalent fields is required
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience
  • Minimum of 3 years leading large programs and/or teams in a matrixed environment
  • Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during warmer and colder months, ranging from mild to moderate as required
