Job description

Position Title: Systems Engineer Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract Systems Engineer opportunity located in Roseville, CA. Job Responsibilities:
Apply systems engineering principles across requirements development, architecture, design, integration, verification, and validation on aircraft platform programs
Develop and maintain system models using MBSE methodologies and tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler
Author and manage requirements, interface control documents (ICDs), and systems engineering management plans (SEMPs)
Perform trade studies, functional analysis, and technical risk assessments
Support design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) and coordinate across engineering disciplines including software, hardware, and test
Work collaboratively in a classified environment, adhering to facility security requirements and program security protocols
Engage with government customers and internal stakeholders to communicate technical status and issues Job Qualifications:
Prior experience on aircraft programs (fixed-wing, rotary, or UAV platforms)
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related ABET-accredited discipline
8+ years experience in Systems Engineering
Hands-on experience with MBSE tools โ€” Cameo/MagicDraw strongly preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable producing and presenting technical documentation. Job Details:
