Candidate location: Candidate MUST be a SC resident. No relocation allowed.


Project Scope:

Seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a large-scale Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) Modernization initiative. The ideal candidate will serve as the liaison between business and IT teams, gather and analyze business requirements, improve business processes, support system modernization, and ensure successful project delivery across multiple workstreams.

Key Responsibilities:

· Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.

· Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams.

· Analyze existing business processes and recommend process improvements.

· Translate business requirements into functional specifications.

· Support Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) modernization initiatives.

· Lead business design workshops and cross-functional meetings.

· Assist with business process redesign and documentation.

· Coordinate priorities across multiple projects and stakeholders.

· Track project progress, risks, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

· Prepare status reports, documentation, and project deliverables.

· Mentor junior team members and support business integration activities.

· Ensure project deliverables align with business goals and operational objectives.


Required Skills & Experience:

· 7+ years of Commercial Healthcare experience.

· 3+ years of State Medicaid Payer System Integration experience.

· 3+ years of experience with MITA (Medicaid Information Technology Architecture).

· 6+ years of experience with business processes, EDI, data structures, and file formats.

· 6+ years of experience working on cross-functional technology projects.

· Strong experience in business process analysis, requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.

· Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.


Preferred Skills:

· Experience with large-scale Business & Technology Integration projects.

· Knowledge of Federal Certification requirements and processes.

· Project Management experience.

· Experience supporting Medicaid or Healthcare modernization programs.

· Strong leadership, facilitation, and documentation skills.


Education
Bachelor's Degree in Technical, Business, Healthcare, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
