LanceSoft is seeking a local contract Surgical Technologist for a local contract job in Manhattan, Kansas.

Job Description & Requirements

Surgical Technologist (Operating Room) – Permanent | Manhattan, KS

Location: Manhattan, Kansas
Shift Options: 8, 10, or 12-hour Day Shifts
Salary: $28.28–$48.38/hour (based on experience)

 Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments.
  • Scrub and assist during surgical procedures.
  • Pull surgical cases and prepare instrumentation.
  • Assist with room turnover, terminal cleaning, and case setup.
  • Float to Sterile Processing when needed to assist with instrument management.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, RNs, and the perioperative team to deliver exceptional patient care.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum experience as a Surgical Technologist in an acute care or surgical hospital setting.
  • Orthopedic surgical experience required, including total joints and sports medicine.
  • Experience with Zimmer and Arthrex instrumentation.
  • Ability to scrub multiple specialties, including:
    • Orthopedics
    • ENT
    • General Surgery
    • Spine
    • GYN
    • Urology
    • Ophthalmology (Cataracts)
  • Current BLS Certification (AHA or American Red Cross).
Preferred Qualifications
  • NBSTSA or NCCT Surgical Technologist Certification.
