Our mission is to fight for what's right for homeowners after storm damage. We're looking for a detail-oriented Roof Inspector / Project Manager to inspect properties, document damage, and manage roofing projects from start to finish.

Job Summary As a Roof Inspector / Project Manager, you will be in the field daily inspecting roofs for storm damage, documenting conditions, and managing the full production process once a job is approved. You'll climb roofs, take detailed photos, write inspection reports, coordinate with insurance adjusters, and oversee every project through completion ensuring quality workmanship and homeowner satisfaction.

What You'll Do

Roof Inspections:

  • Climb roofs and inspect for hail, wind, and storm damage
  • Take detailed photos documenting all damage, existing conditions, and measurements
  • Write pre-inspection reports with findings and recommendations
  • Verify shingle color, material type, and roof specifications
  • Identify code upgrade requirements and additional damage
  • Check attics for signs of leaks and interior damage
  • Meet with insurance adjusters on-site to walk through damage findings
  • Submit supplement requests with photos and documentation when additional damage is found
  • Inspect completed work for quality before final walkthrough

Project Management:

  • Manage roofing projects from contract signing through completion
  • Order materials and confirm correct color, quantity, and delivery
  • Coordinate with subcontractor crews on scheduling and logistics
  • Be on-site during tear-off and key production phases
  • Ensure tarps and property protection are in place before work begins
  • Perform quality control checks on flashing, valleys, vents, ridge cap, and cleanup
  • Conduct final walkthroughs with homeowners and collect Certificates of Completion
  • Handle change orders with written homeowner approval
  • Manage material returns and leftover inventory
  • Ensure jobsite safety and OSHA compliance
  • Upload all photos and documentation to the CRM the same day
  • Communicate daily with homeowners during active projects
  • Collect deductibles and checks after job completion

Qualifications

  • Comfortable climbing ladders and walking on roofs in all weather
  • Experience in roofing, construction, or property inspections preferred
  • Strong attention to detail you'll be documenting damage for insurance claims
  • Good photography skills (smartphone camera)
  • Excellent communication skills with homeowners, crews, and adjusters
  • Organized and able to manage multiple projects at once
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Knowledge of roofing materials, installation methods, and building codes is a plus
  • No roofing experience required if you're a fast learner we train
