FEV North America, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer is responsible for leading software development projects, designing and implementing solutions, and ensuring code quality. Contribute to technical strategy and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Mix of technical expertise and leadership to drive the development of high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Create software applications and systems that meet business requirements.
  • Coding and Testing: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, and test software to ensure it meets quality standards.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve software defects and issues.
  • Collaboration: Work with stakeholders, including project managers, designers, and QA engineers, to ensure software meets business needs.
  • Maintenance and Updates: Maintain and update existing software applications and systems.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of career experience, with bachelor's degree. 3+ years' experience with master's degree.
  • Proficiency in writing efficient SQL for databases such as PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL.
  • Experience with major cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Git and familiarity with change tracking tools.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs and integration with external API
  • Capable of defining appropriate approaches and solutions.
  • Strong experience in .NET Core, Entity Framework or NodeJS
  • Understanding of modern software design principles, microservices architecture, and object-oriented design.
  • Strong ability to debug and trouble shoot software and system issues.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with infrastructure as code deployment tools such as Terraform.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools Agile development methodologies.
