Position Summary:
The Sr Sales Enablement Consultant supports the sales and customer success teams. Serving as Data & Fortellis subject matter experts, they engage with our Dealer, OEM and ISV customers during the land and expand phases to identify pains, surface solution requirements and provide solution proposals for data solutions for dealers. They also ensure a smooth transition post-sale to our professional services and customer success teams.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Working with CDK dealers and CDK internal resources to document detailed workflows, perform solution reviews, gather resource estimates for proposals and provide sales opportunity status updates
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for all technical questions during the sales cycle
  • Presenting workflows and business cases with compelling, detailed presentations to gain internal governance approvals from various governing bodies
  • Delivering clear, dynamic technical sales presentations and product demonstrations
  • Assisting in market analysis/research for emerging market opportunities to grow the business
  • Collaborating with Product Marketing and Client Services to enhance/grow technical knowledge of solutions and services
  • Collaborating with Product Teams to communicate customer needs and contribute to the development of future product offerings
  • Migrating dealers from legacy sunsetting solutions to new modern offerings including APIs, Snowflake Sharing, etc.
  • Preparing various contracts and/or other technical documentation needed for proposals
  • Managing sales opportunities within SalesForce including archives of workflow documents and meeting notes
  • Coordinating with baseline CDK sales representatives to sell and contract for various dealer data solutions

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Automotive Industry experience is required, DMS (Dealer Management Systems) and Snowflake sharing experience an absolute plus
  • Pre-Sales Technical Consultant experience required including presenting technical SAAS solutions to clients and prospects
  • Solid interpersonal skills required, including the ability to successfully interact with a variety of internal and external departments and management levels
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required, including the ability to develop detailed presentations and proposals
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills required to consult with dealers and make product recommendations during the sales cycle
  • Proactive, self-sufficient mindset required to take ownership of tasks without prompting
  • Resourceful skills required to anticipate challenges and seek answers across a large network of people and resources
  • Accuracy of work and keen attention to detail is required to scope and conduct discovery sessions with dealers
  • Occasional travel may be required (<10%)

Compensation: $95,000 - $98,000
CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location.
