Job description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the vibrant Silver Spring, MD area. This role is tailor-made for professionals passionate about making a difference in school-based settings, including those with experience in teletherapy, healthcare, and pediatric care. You'll collaborate directly with educators and families, providing vital services that empower students to communicate and thrive academically.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience in pediatric, school-based, and/or healthcare SLP environments
- Proficiency in IEP documentation and participation in IEP meetings
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, especially within multidisciplinary teams
- Comfortable with itinerant schedules and paid travel between school sites
