Job description

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Sr. Project Manager in Rayville, LA. The Senior Project Manager is a lead operational role responsible for driving the delivery of complex network infrastructure and structured cabling projects within mission-critical environments. The ideal candidate will possess over a decade of experience in data centers or construction management, demonstrating the leadership required to manage project schedules, budgets, and high-level client engagements from pre-construction through final delivery.

Annual Salary: $175,000 Annually BOE

Licenses/Certifications Required:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • BICSI RCDD
  • Telecommunications certifications

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of various network infrastructure and cabling projects, ensuring all targets for schedule, cost, functionality, quality, and safety are met.
  • Drive the entire project lifecycle including conceptual development, estimating, scheduling, resource acquisition, and implementation.
  • Evaluate proposed materials and products during the pre-construction phase for constructability, feasibility, and value engineering.
  • Manage project financials, including budget estimates, cost tracking, progress reports, invoicing, and contract change processes.
  • Prepare, negotiate, and administer contracts and revisions with designers, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Direct labor requirements and supervise on-site team members, including recruiting, training, and mentoring project staff.
  • Act as the primary company liaison for clients to maintain high satisfaction levels and ensure collaborative environments across all parties.
  • Oversee the Safety & Environment program, quality assurance programs, and material logistics for all assigned sites.
  • Proactively communicate program status, risks, and corrective actions to all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain all aspects of the project management playbook, completing weekly and monthly reporting and financial projections.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of direct work experience in construction management, data centers, or structured cabling environments.
  • Proven track record of delivering mission-critical programs on time, within budget, and to build quality and safety standards.
  • Strong understanding of program management fundamentals such as earned value management (EVM), SPI, CPI, and other tracking metrics.
  • Extensive experience in contract negotiation, administration, and managing complex project escalations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and formal scheduling tools.
  • Demonstrated experience building, leading, and mentoring direct reports and vendor teams.
  • Excellent organizational and coordination skills across multiple disciplines and high-profile project stakeholders.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to be present on the job site for active on-site project management responsibilities.
  • Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, and use hands to operate computers and telephones.
  • May need to occasionally climb stairs and/or ladders.
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, and bending.
  • May need to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion.
  • Must be aware of and comply with OSHA safety standards at all times.
