We're seeking a Process Technician II to support process engineering, product development, and research & development activities within a semiconductor manufacturing laboratory environment. In this role, you'll operate advanced process equipment, perform engineering experiments, collect and analyze data, and support process optimization initiatives that help drive innovation in semiconductor technology.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented technician with semiconductor equipment experience who enjoys working closely with engineers to improve processes, optimize yields, and support next-generation product development.

What You'll Do:
  • Set up and operate semiconductor processing equipment supporting process development and production activities.
  • Execute engineering-defined process recipes and experimental test plans.
  • Support high-volume thin film deposition production across multiple process platforms.
  • Monitor process performance and collect metrology data, including thin-film measurements, CD measurements, wafer disposition data, and chemistry analysis.
  • Process test runs and prepare records, charts, graphs, and reports for engineering review.
  • Conduct technical tests and experiments within R&D and process engineering environments.
  • Monitor, audit, and provide guidance to operators regarding process execution and procedural compliance.
  • Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts for application laboratory equipment and process setups.
  • Assist process engineers in identifying yield improvement opportunities and process optimization initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with laboratory procedures and safety protocols.

What You'll Bring:
  • 2-4 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, process operations, laboratory operations, process engineering support, or related technical environments.
  • 2+ years of experience operating semiconductor processing equipment or advanced manufacturing systems.
  • 1+ years of experience supporting engineering experiments, process development, or R&D activities.
  • 1+ years of experience collecting, documenting, and reporting process data, test results, or metrology measurements.
  • Associate's degree, technical diploma, technical certificate, or higher education in:
    • Semiconductor Technology
    • Electronics
    • Chemistry
    • Mechanical Technology
    • Manufacturing Technology
    • Related Technical Discipline

What Sets You Apart:
  • Previous experience operating Lam Research or Novellus semiconductor equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to procedural compliance.
  • Semiconductor thin-film deposition process experience.
  • Experience supporting laboratory operations and engineering development programs.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience working with process metrology equipment and manufacturing data collection systems.

Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
  • Overtime: May be required based on production schedules and business needs.
  • Work Environment: Semiconductor cleanroom and process laboratory environment.
  • PPE Requirements: Must be able to work while wearing cleanroom suits, smocks, gloves, eye protection, and other required PPE.
  • Work Schedule: BED shift schedule with alternating 12x3 and 12x4 workweeks, including alternating Wednesdays.
