Job Summary:

As a Sr. RevPro Analyst in our global Accountingorganization, you will play a critical role in managing, automating, and maintaining our revenue accounting compliance under ASC 606. This role sits at the intersection of technical accounting, cross-functional deal structuring, and enterprise system operations within a complex hybrid model encompassing enterprise hardware, software, professional services, deployment services and other data center building block solutions.

You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end Quote-to-Revenue lifecycle inZuora RevPro(or SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting ) ensuring accurate revenue recognition, managing month-end close schedules, and partnering directly with Sales, Legal, Deal Desk, and IT to support multi-element deal arrangements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Revenue Accounting & ASC 606 Compliance

  • Working with Revenue Manager or Sr. Revenue Manager, perform review of non-standard customer contracts (enterprise hardware sales, perpetual software, SaaS, maintenance, and professional services) to determine appropriate accounting treatment underASC 606.
  • Evaluate multi-performance obligation arrangements (SSP / Standalone Selling Price allocation) and complex contract modifications.
  • Own the annual and periodic Standalone Selling Price (SSP) allocation studies across hardware, software, and services offerings.

RevPro System Administration & Operations

  • Manage operations inZuora RevPro(or equivalent revenue engine), including key table maintenance, e.g. customer masters, material part list updates, List price review, SSP review, product categories, etc. ensuring proper contract creation, performance obligation (POB) matching, revenue hold release, manual adjustments, and accurate revenue close process and schedules.
  • Identify and resolve data exceptions, hold rules, and revenue allocation anomalies in RevPro during month-end and quarter-end close cycles.
  • Collaborate with IT and Financial Systems teams to design, test, and implement configuration updates for new product rollouts, billing models, or policy shifts.
  • Review and evaluate all Zuora RevPro updates and upgrades to ensure well informed decisions to accept or adjust push down updates/ upgrades from Zuora.

Month-End Close, Reporting & Audits

  • Lead month-end and quarter-end close activities for revenue, contract assets, deferred revenue, and contract liabilities that are all maintained on RevPro.
  • Modify transaction data as applicable for any missing linkages or inaccurate ELP due to order changes and review the impact for adjustments
  • Perform underlying monthly data analysis to identify potentially abnormal data or fluxes, and propose any necessary adjustments to management
  • Prepare standard journal entries, account reconciliations, balance sheet flux analyses, and revenue variance schedules.
  • Generate monthly revenue analytics and executive reporting packages highlighting key metrics.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for external auditors (Big 4) during quarterly reviews and annual audits regarding RevPro accounting, ensuring robust SOX control compliance and audit trails.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business discipline.
  • 8+ years of progressive revenue accounting experience, ideally combiningBig 4 public accountingwith industry experience at a technology enterprise (computer hardware, software, or semiconductor).
  • In-depth technical knowledge of ASC 606 principles-specifically performance obligations, variable consideration, contract combination, and allocation of transaction price.
  • Hands-on operational experience withZuora RevPro(or RevStream / SAP RAR).
  • Proficiency with enterprise ERP systems (SAP) and CRM/CPQ platforms (Salesforce,Zuora Billing).
  • Advanced Excel capabilities (index/match, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH) for financial data validation and modeling complex financial reviews. Strong attention to detail with the ability to audit large datasets and identify systemic root causes.
  • Ability to execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), trace revenue contract creation, and troubleshoot system defects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ActiveCPA(Certified Public Accountant) license.
  • Prior experience dealing with hardware + embedded software + cloud subscription bundle arrangements.
  • Direct involvement in system migration, UAT testing, or implementation projects for RevPro or major ERP upgrades.
Salary Range

$125,000 - $142,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
