RV Repair Technician Job Description
Summary:
As an RV Repair Professional, you will be responsible for the necessary upkeep and repair duties for RV inventory. Someone who will excel in this position will be dedicated, motivated, and willing to learn new skills and tasks along the way.
Reports To: General Manager
Job Duties:
Accurately assess and diagnose damage and repairs needed to correct the problem.
Minor and major interior and exterior repairs and maintenance to RV campers including but not limited to:
o Electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repair and maintenance
o Caulk work
o Flooring repairs and reinstallations
o Appliance operation checks
o Water system checks
o Electrical system checks
o Distribution hitches
o Install awnings
o Water damage repairs
o Installation of accessories
o Appliance repair and maintenance including refrigerators, water heaters, ranges, air conditioners, microwaves, etc.
o Roof, siding, awning, window repair and maintenance
o Installation of hitches, brake controls, and tow wiring
o Performing inspections prior to delivery
o Cabinet repair and maintenance
Brake repair and replacement, axel work, and frame and suspension repairs and replacements.
Maintain and clean shop and RV lot
Move units as needed on sales lot and to other locations
Clean and detail RV prior to delivery including but not limited to:
o Wash, buff, and other minor repairs
o Gas check propane systems
o Set up and adjust weight
o Maintain and clean RVs
Some overtime may be required.
Other duties as assigned by management.

Exemption Status:
RV Repair Technician is a non-exempt position. You are required by Federal and State Law and
by Reineke Family Dealerships to keep an accurate record of all hours worked each day on our
online payroll system. Failure to comply with this requirement can result in disciplinary action
up to and including termination.
The dealership is an "at-will" employer, meaning that your employment has no specific term,
and that the employment relationship may be terminated at any time at the will of either party on
notice to the other. Nothing contained in your commission (compensation/pay) plan should be
understood to alter the nature of the at-will employment relationship or create a contract of
employment for a specific term.

Qualifications:
Knowledge of 12-volt and 110-volt electrical systems
Supply own tools
Valid driver's license
Experience in maintenance or automotive repairs and/or auto detailing
Must be able to lift up to 100lbs.
