As an RRT, you will:
  • Monitor and assess patient respiratory status and adjust treatments accordingly
  • Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Document patient progress and treatment accurately and timely manner
  • Educate families on respiratory care and equipment usage
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols
A few must-haves for RRTs
  • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensed within the state of Indiana
  • 2 years of recent experience, with 18 months of ICU specific experience as required by the facility
  • Must be able to work independently, yet together as part of a team
  • Must be able to remain calm under pressure
  • Proficient in Airway management, Medication administration, Vent management, ABGs, 02 Therapy, Suction, Pulmonary toileting, Nebulizer, BiPAP, CPAP
  • Active BLS, physical, TB test, and other medical compliance as required by facility
