Job Summary

Wright Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Contract Registered Nurse (RN) to join our night shift team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents while ensuring a safe, supportive, and clinically sound environment during overnight hours.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with facility policies, state regulations, and professional standards

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

  • Monitor residents’ conditions and promptly report changes to the appropriate healthcare providers

  • Accurately document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes

  • Respond to emergencies and provide critical decision-making during night shift hours

  • Collaborate with CNAs, supervisors, and other interdisciplinary team members

  • Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and quality assurance protocols

Requirements
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing

  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience (long-term care or rehabilitation experience preferred)

  • Ability to work independently and manage clinical situations during overnight hours

  • Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills

  • CPR certification (required)

  • Ability to pass background check and pre-employment requirements
