Registered Nurse โ€“ ER, Travel assignment in Needham, MA. Start date: July 27, 2026. Duration: 8 weeks. Pay: $2,424โ€“$2,545 per week. Guaranteed hours: 72 biweekly. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Setting: hospital emergency department. Employment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment. This ER role requires acute care experience in a high-volume environment and the ability to work with a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities
- Triage and initiate assessment of emergency department patients; prioritize care based on acuity
- Implement and monitor treatment plans under physician orders; administer medications and therapies as prescribed
- Perform reassessment, monitor patient status, and escalate changes in condition promptly
- Assist with procedures, support patient and family education, and coordinate discharge planning as applicable
- Document accurately in Meditech EMR; ensure legible, complete, and timely charting
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient patient care and maintain unit readiness
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license at submission or valid temporary license
- Minimum 2+ years ER nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS required; PALS or ENPC required; TNCC preferred; MAB preferred
- Proficiency with Meditech EMR
- Must be available for a night shift schedule and able to work in a hospital ER setting
- Travel nurse relocation: must reside more than 50 miles from the assignment location; local travelers within 50 miles are not eligible
- No time off requests (RTO) approved for this assignment
