Job Requirements Integrates advanced data analytics with clinical nursing expertise to support Stroke Program performance improvement, regulatory compliance, and accreditation readiness. In collaboration with physicians, nursing leadership, quality teams, and executive stakeholders, this role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and clinical relevance of stroke data used to evaluate care processes, outcomes, and adherence to evidence-based standards. The position transforms clinical and operational data into actionable insights, supports Joint Commission stroke certification requirements, AHA guidelines, and CMS quality measures, and applies expert clinical judgment to data abstraction, registry management and submission, benchmarking, and performance improvement initiatives.
Work Experience Education & Experience - Required
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Three (3) years of previous clinical nursing experience
Education & Experience - Preferred
Certification such as Stroke Certified Registered Nurse (SCRN), Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), or NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Informatics, Public Health, Data Science, or a related discipline
Experience in health informatics, healthcare administration, statistics, or related analytical fields
Experience supporting Primary, ThrombectomyCapable, or Comprehensive Stroke Center certification programs
Experience with Get With The GuidelinesStroke (GWTGStroke) registry abstraction and reporting
Experience with Joint Commission and/or DNV stroke accreditation standards
Proficiency with EHR systems and analytics tools such as Epic, MIDAS, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or comparable platforms
Experience in clinical quality improvement, registry abstraction, or healthcare data analytics

Compensation
Pay Range: $42.64-$64.00/hour
