  • Oversee the prime contractor’s software development life-cycle, including adherence to modern practices such as Agile and DevSecOps, providing the Government with an independent assessment of progress, risks, and quality.
  • Review, comment on, and recommend for Government approval all contractor-generated software documentation, including, but not limited to, Software Requirements Specifications (SRS), Software Design Documents (SDD), and Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
  • Oversee and witness prime contractor-led software testing activities (including unit, integration, and performance testing). Analyze test plans and results to ensure software requirements are fully verified and advise the Government on software readiness.

  • Provide subject matter expertise on software-related risks and opportunities during technical reviews, configuration management boards, and other program management activities.
  • Provide continuous technical support and recommendations to the Government team throughout all phases of the acquisition life-cycle, including major technical reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR), configuration management, and system-level testing.
