  • Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development activities to enhance trauma-informed care approaches.
  • Stay informed about the latest research, trends, and best practices in trauma therapy, integrating this knowledge into your therapeutic approach.

You will primarily work with individuals affected by trauma, including survivors of abuse, combat veterans, and those experiencing relational or situational trauma. This population often includes diverse backgrounds, necessitating a culturally sensitive and individualized therapeutic approach.

  • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment models.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate, non-judgmental therapeutic style.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, enhancing documentation and patient management processes.
  • A collaborative spirit, ready to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to comprehensive patient care.
Preferred Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in providing mental health counseling, preferably in settings focused on trauma recovery.
  • Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions to diverse populations.
