Position Summary: 

The Supervisor leads a team of inspectors and technicians, providing clear direction, prioritization, and coaching to ensure timely inspection, accurate product disposition, and adherence to regulatory and customer requirements. The role requires a hands-on leadership presence on the floor, actively managing workflow, removing bottlenecks, and reinforcing accountability within the team. A key responsibility is the execution of core Quality System processes, including Material Review Board (MRB) coordination, support of CAPA investigations, training compliance, and audit readiness. The Supervisor ensures that these processes are not only compliant but also efficient, timely, and aligned with operational needs, directly impacting product quality, cycle times, and customer satisfaction.


  • Provide leadership, training, and support to quality inspectors and technicians
  • Lead and prioritize daily workload for quality inspectors and technicians
  • Coordinate Material Review Board (MRB) activities through the disposition, corrective action, and approval processes
  • Support corrective action and preventative actions (CAPA) investigations relating to quality processes
  • Maintain and continuously improve the internal training system and document control processes
  • Provide leadership and training to the internal audit team in support of continuous improvement of the quality system
  • Provide expertise in support of the supplier quality process, including conducting supplier audits
  • Monitor the utilization of employee safety and OE programs
  • Partner with the other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance
  • Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve
  • Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly

  • High school diploma or equivalent degree (GED)
  • 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance
  • ISO 13485/ISO 9001
  • Quality systems auditing
  • Root cause analysis and problem solving
  • Inspection equipment use and maintenance
  • Advanced GD&T
  • Lean manufacturing
  • Lead, coach, and mentor the Quality Assurance team
  • Ability to consistently achieve short and long-term business results
  • Ability to follow through on commitments and hold team members accountable
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work onsite in a cleanroom environment

Strongly Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or in another Engineering Science
  • 5 years of engineering experience in a machining or manufacturing setting

USD $75,000.00 - USD $112,600.00 /Yr.

This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions. While the full hiring range is shared for transparency, offers are rarely made at the minimum or maximum of the range.

20+hours:
