Job Title: Quality Engineer
Client: Heavy Machine Manufacturing
Duration: 1 Yr 8 Months (Ext possible)
Location: Davenport, IA 52809
Shift: 1st Shift | 8 AM - 5 PM (+ up to 5 hrs OT)
Education: Engineering/Technology or equivalent

Role Summary:
Supports quality planning, control & improvement across product development, manufacturing & suppliers using EPDP, EOFP & CSP tools.
Duties:
• Support engineering solutions & feasibility testing
• Assist with standards & specifications
• Inspect quality of engineering work
• Coordinate suppliers & subcontractors
• Improve processes via change management
• Support knowledge systems
• Perform product development activities
• Work within project plans
• Maintain technical & industry knowledge
Key Responsibilities:
• Apply quality tools to identify issues
• Investigate product & process quality problems
• Guide inspectors on procedures
• Lead quality discussions with customers/suppliers
