Software Engineer 2 - (Python, JVM, Kubernetes)

Description

You will act as a general-purpose Software Engineer and Data Integrator for an up-and-coming project where you will design, develop, and integrate solutions for the greater developer community to provide. You will be working closely with data scientists, and other software / system engineers, and systems administrators to integrate AI/ML technologies.

  • Develop new and support existing software solutions.
  • Leverage AI Experience.
  • Elicit requirements from stakeholders and determine the applicability of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions.
Position Required Skills
  • Experience using AI, LLMโ€™s, and leveraging the latest technologies.
  • Production-grade software development experience in Python and JVM Languages.
  • Service containerization and automated/manual deployment using CI/CD with Kubernetes/ Docker.
  • Familiarity with Git.
  • Experiencing maintaining high quality test suite and test coverage for internally developed software.
Nice to Haves
  • Experience working with distributed development teams
  • Experience with additional programming languages (Kotlin).
  • Experience with popular test libraries for the JVM & Python (JUnit, assert4j unittest, pytest)
  • Full Stack Development / (Currently more backend focused)
  • Analyzing cyber security-related data sets (network traffic, OS events).

SWE2 Qualifications

A minimum of eight (8) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Salary Range:

$199k-$244k (Annually)

The range displayed above is a likely salary range for this position. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possible contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
