Description * Conducting comprehensive analyses of operational processes and performance metrics to identify inefficiencies and recommend data-driven improvements * Developing and applying robust mathematical and statistical models to simulate potential scenarios, assess risks, and optimize resource allocation * Preparing detailed analytical reports and presentations that communicate actionable insights and support strategic decision-making * Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement process enhancements and operational solutions aligned with contract requirements * Monitoring key performance indicators to validate analytical models and ensure sustained operational effectiveness FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING #LI-TF1 Requirements * 10 or more years of experience in an operations research analyst role * One or more years of experience must be with communication systems, networks, or technologies * Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering discipline, computer science or IT discipline, or technical discipline * Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and implement mathematical models and statistical analyses to support operational decision-making and resource optimization * Proficient in applying quantitative methods, such as simulation, sensitivity analysis, and risk assessment, to evaluate operational performance and identify improvement opportunities * Skilled in the use of operations research tools and software (e.g., Excel, MATLAB, and optimization packages) to analyze complex data sets and drive strategic recommendations * Possess an Active DoD Secret security clearance Desired Skills * Familiarity with advanced analytical tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R) to automate data processing and enhance model precision * Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and effectively communicating technical findings to senior management * Experience with process improvement methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma, to streamline operations and boost efficiency * Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a proven track record in optimizing operational processes Clearance Information SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S.
