Job description

Position Overview

Location: North Charleston, SC, United States (On-site). Contract (6 months). This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer.

Position Responsibilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Assists with maintenance of Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics.
  • Interprets data to support processes, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of routine problems.
  • Interprets data to support research and analysis of performance reports to improve process capability.
  • Analyses data to establish Quality performance improvement projects through problem solving and root cause analysis.
  • Proficient with SQL programming and database management systems (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Proficient with Data visualization platforms including Tableau and/or Power BI.
Basic Qualifications
  • Proficient with Data visualization platforms including Tableau and/or Power BI.
  • Proficiency in SQL programming and database management systems (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a business or technical field.
  • Knowledge of relevant programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, C++, Java) is often beneficial for integration and automation.
  • 3+ years of experience with query performance tuning and indexing strategies.
  • Proficiency and experience working with Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, Power Pivot, Power Query).
  • Experience with analytical, communication and problem solving skills.
  • Experience developing presentations for leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience with data mining, curating, processing and analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of Database Management Systems (DBMS).
  • Basic understanding of data quality, validation, and metadata management.
  • Experience working in a Cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Communication skills to work with users and developers.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems.
  • 3+ years of experience in aviation maintenance or manufacturing environment.
Pay Rate Range

Min Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Max Pay Rate: $52 per hour
