Job description

TITLE: Principle Systems Engineer (MBSE) with Active TS/SCI w/Poly

RATE RANGE: $65/hr - $85/hr W2 **Depends on experience and benefits chosen**

LOCATION: Aurora, CO 80011 (no relocation package offered)

CLEARANCE: Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly (US Citizenship REQUIRED)

DURATION: 12+ month contract or Contract to Hire

***No C2C, we can NOT work with outside agencies/vendors, and we can NOT do 1099-US CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED***

GeoLogics is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer (MBSE) to provide enterprise-wide systems engineering and integration support within the Intelligence Community. The ideal candidate will apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Digital Engineering practices to define system architectures, manage interfaces, and ensure traceability of requirements to technical solutions. This role involves developing and maintaining system models using tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, as well as utilizing computer-based simulations to analyze and optimize the performance of complex systems.          

REQUIRED SKILLS: 

Active and transferable TS/SCI with CI Polygraph U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required.

Practical experience applying Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles, including system modeling with Cameo, or equivalent tools. 

Familiarity with Digital Engineering practices and tool chains to enhance design, integration, and test workflows. 

Experience with high level programming languages (e.g. Python). 

Demonstrated engineering technical abilities and project management experience. 

Experience collaborating with internal and external customers in a team environment (Government, Military, SETA, and Contractor). 

DESIRED SKILLS: 

Experience with systems installation, integration, and test activities.

Proficiency in relevant programming languages (Python, C++, etc). 

Experience with Request for Change (RFC) impact reviews and assessment processes. 

Experience with customer NSIS requirements and rapid delivery methods. 

Evidence of strong customer relationships and stakeholder engagement. 

Experience working across contract and location boundaries 

Proficiency with Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, and collaborative engineering tools.

Ability to convey complex technical issues clearly through both oral and written communication. 

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Bachelor Degree Required ****Education Level Required: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8+ years of prior engineering experience.
