Job description

Title: Developer - Python
location: Jersey City, NJ 07311
Duration: 3+ Months of contract on W2
Summary:
Python Full Stack Developer
Requirements:
Develop highly scalable applications in Core Python.
Hands-on with Python web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
Experience working on SQL with the ability to run various data analytics tasks and queries.
Exposure to JavaScript technologies (preferably React)
Exposure to Azure Databricks environment is desirable (PySpark, notebooks, integrate repos, job workflows, delta lake, Unity catalog, etc.)
Exposure to the Azure environment and various interconnected Azure components (Functions, App Service, Containers, etc.).
Knowledge on Financial domain and mainly Risk management is highly desirable
Qualifications
8+ years of prior experience as a developer in the required technologies
Responsible for building, testing, and deploying scalable software solutions using Python. This role works across back-end systems, APIs, and data-driven applications to support a variety of technical and business needs. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain server-side applications, APIs, and scripts using Python. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions. Integrate databases, third-party services, and APIs into applications. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices. Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure application reliability. Participate in code reviews and support continuous integration and deployment processes. Skills: Strong proficiency in Python and related frameworks. Experience with RESTful APIs, database integration, and version control systems. Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming. Familiarity with front-end technologies, cloud platforms, or DevOps tools is a plus. Strong analytical thinking and ability to work independently or in agile teams.
