Job description

The ERP Application Developer develops, extends, automates, and supports applications within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM and Power Platform ecosystem. The role will work closely with the ERP Technical & Integration Lead, business teams, and implementation partners to build sustainable solutions and reduce long-term reliance on external consultants. This role is well suited for an early-career professional with strong technical aptitude, curiosity, ownership, and a willingness to learn and grow into deeper D365 application ownership. This position is expected to collaborate across IT, business teams, implementation partners, and other stakeholders. Occasional after-hours and weekend work may be required to support planned system releases, cutovers, maintenance activities, and critical production incidents. 


  • Develop and maintain D365 F&SCM X++ extensions, including data entities, custom fields, report data providers, and business logic
  • Build and maintain REST APIs, OData services, and application connectors
  • Develop Power Apps for manufacturing, warehouse, and business-process use cases, including shop floor forms, production reporting, maintenance requests, and OTTO AMR exception logging
  • Develop Power Automate workflows for approvals, notifications, exception handling, and process automation
  • Design and maintain Dataverse tables, relationships, and application data structures
  • Create and maintain governed D365 data entities, APIs, and OData endpoints for integration and analytics consumption
  • Partner with the Data Analytics Engineer to expose clean D365 data entities and OData feeds for reporting and analytics consumption.
  • Develop reusable application components and automation solutions in accordance with technical architecture standards
  • Perform debugging, root-cause analysis, and application defect resolution
  • Create unit tests and support SIT, UAT, regression testing, and release validation
  • Validate customizations and integrations against Microsoft D365 platform update
  • Participate in code reviews, source-control practices, Azure DevOps, LCS (Lifecycle Services) package management, and release processes
  • Support the ERP Technical and Integration Lead on X++ extension deployments, code reviews, and D365 release validation activities
  • Maintain application design, development, and support documentation
  • Work with business users to understand requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions
  • Support post-go-live enhancements, automation opportunities, and continuous improvement
  • Provide occasional after-hours and weekend support during planned releases, cutovers, system maintenance, and critical production incidents

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field (recent graduates are encouraged to apply)
  • 1-3 years of application development experience (internship, academic project, or portfolio experience may be considered)
  • Foundational programming skills in one or more languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar
  • Basic SQL and relational database knowledge
  • Familiarity with APIs, JSON, REST, web services, or application integration concepts
  • Microsoft certifications or demonstrated self-directed learning in the Microsoft technology stack
  • Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM and/or X++ is preferred
  • Exposure to Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, or Azure is preferred
  • Experience with REST APIs, OData, OAuth, or application integration is preferred
  • Azure DevOps, Git, LCS (Lifecycle Services), or other source-control and ALM tooling experience is preferred
  • Manufacturing, warehouse, ERP, or business application exposure is preferred
