Data Engineer only on W2
Location: Resources will be in office 4 days a week in Dearborn, MI
Job type: Direct hire - Full time
Key Responsibilities:
•System configuration for Time & Attendance, Scheduling, and Absence Management modules
•Design and maintain ETL pipelines and API integrations (REST/SOAP)
•Translate union contracts, labor laws, and work rules into system logic
•Manage platform governance, security roles, upgrades, and environment stability
•Build SQL-based reports and perform advanced data analysis

Education Required:
•Bachelor's Degree
Primary Skills Required:
•Enterprise WFM configuration experience (WFS preferred, UKG/Kronos, Dayforce, SAP SuccessFactors)
•Advanced SQL and ETL development experience
•API / data integration experience (REST, SOAP, XML, flat files)
•Strong technical/business requirements translation skills
•Agile / Jira experience
Experience Required:
•10+ years IT experience in large-scale enterprise environments
•Hands-on WFM configuration for 10,000+ employee environments
•HR/Payroll data integration and system support experience
•Experience with union work rules and manufacturing environments
•Familiarity with US/Canadian labor regulations (FLSA, provincial laws)
Preferred Experience:
•Workforce Software (WFS) hands-on experience
•Cloud data tools (GCP, BigQuery, etc.)
•Automotive or industrial manufacturing experience
