Job description

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Sr Data Analyst with a focus on data & automation for Uber's Ads team. This role is pivotal in optimizing the strategic insights analytics and streamlining the reporting processes through advanced technical expertise in SQL, Python, and APIs. The successful candidate will be instrumental in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of data-driven decision-making within Uber's Ads operations.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and maintain SQL queries and scripts to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets
- Utilize Python to automate data workflows and perform data analysis and extrapolation
- Integrate various data sources and APIs to contribute to real-time data monitoring and automation solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven strategies and business decisions
- Aid in the preparation and maintenance of detailed reporting models and dashboards
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth within Uber Ads
- Assist in designing and implementing data automation frameworks to enhance operational processes
Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years' experience in Analytics, Business Intelligence, Automation, Data Science or similar
- Previous experience in Data Automation
- Experience within data visualization platform such as Tableau, PowerBI or similar
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex data querying and manipulation; live assessment required for interview process
- Advanced proficiency in Python, with a focus on data extraction, transformation, and automation; live assessment required for interview process
- Bachelor's degree, preferably within Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of digital advertising or media analytics
- Experience with Python web development framework such as Flask or Django
- Experience with leveraging GenAI to automate workflow and/or data analysis
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$122,000 per year - USD$135,500 per year.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$135,000 per year - USD$150,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$135,000 per year - USD$150,000 per year.
For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
