Job description

Registered Nurse – Critical Care

Schedule: Nights, 12 hours

Assignment Details:

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:

  • 1+ Years of Experience
  • BLS and ACLS Certification (AHA or ARC)
  • Experience with Adult and Geriatric Population
  • Epic Experience
  • Experience with Fresh Open Heart Surgery Patients (Preferred)
  • Interpretation of Cardiac Rhythms (Preferred)
  • Experience with Impella and Balloon Pumps (Preferred)

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide holistic care to patients and families, focusing on independent and collaborative nursing functions.
  • Execute standards of nursing practice, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Develop and revise the patient's plan of care, coordinating with other healthcare disciplines.
  • Participate in shared accountability and decision-making for nursing practices.
  • Lead efforts to define, implement, and improve care standards and the care environment.
  • Promote remarkable patient care through active participation in nursing practice.

Compliance / Notes:

  • Required to float to other ICUs or medical/surgical units as needed.
  • Must include all RTO requests at the time of submission.
