Job Title: Supply Tec
Location: Wright-Patterson AFB - Bldg. 840 (Dayton, OH)
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (Occasional schedule flexibility; not to exceed 40 hrs/week)
Company Overview
Venesco, LLC is seeking qualified Supply Technicians to support the 711th Human Performance Wing (711 HPW) Logistics Division at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The 711 HPW provides critical medical and operational support to the U.S. Air Force and Department of Defense.
This role supports both medical logistics (AFI 41 series) and line logistics (AFI 21 series) programs, ensuring proper accountability, storage, and distribution of mission-essential equipment and supplies.
Position Summary
The Supply Tech will perform warehouse and supply technician duties in support of medical logistics operations. Responsibilities include receiving, storing, inventorying, transporting, and issuing government property, medical supplies, and equipment in accordance with USAF and DoD regulations.
This position operates in a controlled warehouse environment supporting active-duty medical and operational units.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, verify, and document incoming shipments
  • Compare materials against receiving documentation and report discrepancies
  • Store, stack, palletize, and manage inventory in accordance with prescribed storage methods
  • Conduct inventory management, cataloging, and property accountability
  • Perform issue, shipment preparation, and routing of materials
  • Apply special handling procedures for:
    • Controlled medical items
    • Hazardous materials
    • Refrigerated/frozen items
    • Gases and precious metals
  • Transport supplies between logistics and base support activities
  • Support tool control, TMDE, vehicle control, and equipment accountability programs
  • Maintain warehouse housekeeping standards (cleaning, recycling, organization)
  • Support Technical Order Distribution Office (TODO) requirements
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and AFOSH safety standards
  • Provide responsive customer service to internal government stakeholders
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 months warehouse or supply experience (medical supply preferred)
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Forklift certification (required)
  • Working knowledge of supply systems and warehouse procedures
  • Understanding of OSHA safety standards
  • Ability to lift, move, and transport warehouse materials
Security Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Eligible for Tier 1 (T1)/SF85 background investigation
  • Must obtain Air Force network account access
  • Ability to complete IA (Information Assurance) training
  • Compliance with DoD, USAF, and OPSEC requirements
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting military or DoD logistics programs
  • Familiarity with AFI supply regulations
  • Experience handling medical supplies or controlled items
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems
  • Experience with tool control or equipment accountability programs
Work Environment
  • Warehouse setting
