  • B.S. in Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Business Management or equivalent field; equivalent experience with customer approval.
  • 3-5+ years experience providing direct project coordination support to Program or Project Managers pertaining to construction projects: Electrical/Gas Substation, Compressor, Transmission, Distribution, IT, or Civil projects.
  • CAPM, Agile or other Project Management certifications, training and/or demonstrated experience.
  • Must be able to assess the potential financial impact of a project to the Company. 
  • Must possess the ability to review complex problems and propose innovative solutions.
  • Must be able to build solid business cases/project justifications.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, presentation and reporting skills.

The salary range for this position is $80,000-$100,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicants qualifications, education, experience and work location.

  • Responsible for direct coordination support of projects and contracts in a functional area. 
  • Have a general working knowledge with regards to the systems, technology, and protocols used in deploying system protection equipment for substation, transmission, distribution, and other electrical
    utility deployments. 
  • Provides tracking and documentation of work standards, contractor schedules, work discrepancies, contractor personnel and communications, purposes, and goals of the organization at the direction of Program or Project Manager. 
  • Submits completed and approved design request documentation to appropriate work groups. 
  • Tracks and supports program/technical support operations involving multiple project/task orders and personnel at diverse locations. 
  • Tracks planning and execution of all program/technical support activities. 
  • Maintains management structure supporting documentation technical support activities. 
  • Facilitates site-walks and project meetings when project manager cannot attend. 
  • Tracks meeting minutes, arranges meeting schedules, provides support for tracking risk, issues and action items.
