Job description

Job Title: Project Manager
Industry: Construction, Environmental Remediation, Demolition
Compensation: $70,000-$105,000, based on experience
AAC Contracting, LLC founded in 1983, specializes in environmental remediation (lead, mold, PCBs and asbestos), demolition, and the installation of firestopping and fireproofing.
Project Manager: Accountable for all aspects of assigned AAC projects. Responsible for project schedule & budget while staying connected with estimator. Responsible for site safety, labor & all project logistics. Reviews weekly project cost reports and provides monthly profit projections for all assigned projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop intimate knowledge of all assigned project scopes & estimates which includes but is not limited to; analyzing construction documents, surveys as applicable, and spending time with estimator at project handoff for full understanding of scope & dollars included.
  • Visit assigned project sites regularly to manage site logistics, oversee field labor and ensure effective communication with customer, project team related to scope, budget & schedule.
  • Coordinate with Logistics Manager for all applicable waste disposal on project sites.
  • Safety: Create safety plan with estimator and project supervisor prior to project start, implement, and manage in field throughout project duration. Stay connected with & utilize as needed, AAC Safety Coordinator throughout duration of project. Responsible for project site safety on all assigned projects.
  • Compliance: Communicate compliance related requirements to project team prior to project start, implement, and manage in field throughout project duration. Stay connected with & utilize as needed, AAC Compliance Manage throughout duration of project. Responsible for site compliance on all assigned projects.
  • Project Profitability: Review job cost reports weekly to analyze where project financials stand. Prepare 'Project Profit Projections' monthly to display where the project's profit is anticipated to fall.
  • Review weekly time sheets for all labor on assigned projects and make corrections as needed prior to payroll being processed.
  • Work closely with the Operations and Finance teams for invoicing and T&M tickets.
  • Perform routine employee evaluations for the Supervisors.
  • Develop & maintain customer relationships.

Education & Experience: High School Diploma and at least 5 years' experience in the environmental remediation and/or demolition industry
