UX Designer (SAP Focus)
Location: Jackson, MI (Hybrid)
Schedule: Onsite Tuesday-Thursday at One Energy Plaza (OEP), Jackson, MI. Remote Mondays and Fridays.
Overview
We are seeking a UX Designer to support a large-scale SAP initiative. This role will focus on understanding user needs, improving user experiences, and partnering with cross-functional teams to create intuitive and accessible solutions. The ideal candidate will combine user-centered design principles with strong collaboration skills and have familiarity with SAP environments.
Key Responsibilities
SAP-Focused Responsibilities
  • Support and maintain SAP user personas that reflect user goals, responsibilities, and pain points.
  • Advocate for user needs during cross-functional discussions and decision-making processes.
  • Apply UX best practices to ensure consistent experiences and seamless transitions across applications.
  • Collaborate closely with internal Customer Experience (CE) development teams and external implementation vendors.
  • Leverage SAP knowledge to support user experience design and optimization efforts.
Core UX Responsibilities
  • Translate research insights into journey maps, task flows, personas, and design strategies that guide product direction.
  • Conduct user research, define persona-specific requirements, perform task analysis, and develop use cases.
  • Plan and execute usability testing to validate user experiences and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with business and engineering teams to align on user experience goals and drive adoption.
  • Analyze product usage data and user feedback to continuously improve existing experiences.
  • Advocate for accessibility and ensure inclusive design principles are incorporated into all solutions.
  • Define and document UX patterns, interaction models, and behavioral standards to maintain consistency.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
