Job Title: IT Asset Management

Location: Los Angeles(Onsite)- Local Preferred

Contract- 12+ months

 

 

Job Description :

·       Maintain and manage enterprise IT asset inventory (hardware and software)

·       Track asset lifecycle: procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement Ensure accurate records in IT Asset Management / CMDB tools (ServiceNow preferred)

·       Perform asset reconciliation and audits to ensure data integrity

·       Manage software license compliance and prevent over/under licensing

·       Collaborate with procurement and finance for asset tracking and cost optimization

·       Implement and enforce asset governance policies and procedures

·       Support audit readiness and regulatory compliance efforts

·       Monitor asset usage trends and generate reports and dashboards

·       Integrate asset tracking with security and vulnerability management programs

·       Coordinate with IT teams for hardware refresh and disposal processes

·       Maintain asset tagging, tracking standards, and documentation

·       Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements

Qualifications

·       Proven experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM) or similar role

·       Experience with ITAM / CMDB tools (ServiceNow, SCCM, or similar platforms)

·       Strong understanding of hardware lifecycle and software licensing models

·       Familiarity with ITIL practices and asset management processes

·       Experience supporting IT audits and compliance requirements

·       Knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure (endpoints, servers, network devices)

·       Strong analytical and data management skills

·       Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., ITIL, Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM), (CSAM)

·       Excellent documentation and communication skills
