Legal Administrative Assistant (2-4wk contract)
Location: Blue Ash, OH
Pay: $18-$24/hr
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the legal team and external process servers, coordinating service of process activities.
  • Prepare, verify, and transmit legal documents with accurate service addresses and detailed instructions.
  • Monitor service status, track service attempts, and proactively follow up on outstanding or difficult-to-serve files.
  • Review completed Affidavits of Service for accuracy and legal sufficiency, ensuring timely e-filing with the appropriate courts.
  • Maintain accurate case information through data entry and updates within case management and client management systems.
  • Coordinate with vendors, manage daily communications, and ensure compliance with internal procedures and court deadlines.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or Paralegal Studies certificate preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience handling service of process or related legal administrative responsibilities.
  • Prior experience in default servicing, foreclosure, eviction, or creditors' rights law preferred.
