Job description

Job Title: Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst 
Work location: Onsite in Promontory, Utah
Work schedule: 9x80 A
Duration: 12 months
Terms: W2 contract

Position summary:

  • The Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst will support our client’s Program scheduling department.
  • As a member of the scheduling department you’ll get to schedule for NASA''s SLS Booster program.
  • This position will serve onsite at Promontory, Utah. 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares, develops and coordinates the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives.
  • Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.
  • Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts.
  • Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas.
  • Creates visuals that represent the program plan. 

Basic qualifications:

  • Understand CPM and EVMS and how they interact within a scheduling software. 

Preferred:

  • 3+ years in Primavera P6 software. 

Technical skills:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX MATCH, macros)
  • Critical Path Methodology (CPM)
  • Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
