Southern Health Partners is seeking PRN Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team at the Marathon County Jail in Wisconsin.
This is a great opportunity for nurses who want to pick up additional shifts, maintain a flexible schedule, or work PRN while balancing other personal or professional commitments.
What You'll Do
As a PRN nurse, you will provide quality healthcare to patients within the correctional facility while working alongside an experienced healthcare team.
Responsibilities may include:
  • Providing nursing care and treatment to patients
  • Administering medications and treatments as ordered
  • Completing assessments and monitoring patient conditions
  • Responding to urgent and routine healthcare needs
  • Communicating patient needs with the healthcare team
  • Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Supporting continuity of care within the facility

Qualifications
  • Current, unrestricted RN or LPN license in Wisconsin
  • Current CPR certification
  • Nursing experience preferred, but correctional healthcare experience is not required
  • Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Must be able to successfully complete facility credentialing requirements
