JOB DESCRIPTION

The Quality Control Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all materials, equipment, and services comply with quality standards and specifications required for safe and efficient operations. The QC Engineer will oversee quality control processes across various stages of the project lifecycle, from procurement and fabrication to offshore installation and commissioning.

  • Responsible for maintaining change control, cost reports, etc.
  • Coordinate and assemble the monthly progress reports
  • Ensure all engineering and construction activities meet the required quality standards and specifications.
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards to confirm that they align with contract requirements.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures, inspection checklists, and test plans.
  • Manage the documentation of inspection and test reports and other quality-related documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international quality standards, regulations, and certifications.
  • Prepare detailed quality control reports, including findings, actions, and recommendations for management review.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspections, tests, certifications, and compliance checks.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Four-year bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience of 5+ years of experience in within the offshore oil & gas industry
  • Advanced level proficiency in Cost Estimating, Project Planning and Project Controls
  • Advance experience in MS Office: (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Advance experience with SAP
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
  • Impeccable interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills to assess quality issues, analyze data, and implement corrective actions.
  • Advanced level proficiency in Cost Estimating, Project Planning and Project Controls
