Job description

The client is a customer service driven section that provides information technology solutions to the client and several valley-wide fire agency partners. The Technical Services section provides leadership, technology planning, implementation, and support of specialized applications and systems required to meet the growing needs of the client and its partners. This position provides primary software development and support for mission critical applications and requires on-site presence. This includes support for Power Apps, Power Automate, Azure and other assignments based on operational needs.
The primary job duties of this position:
Work closely with internal/external customers and stakeholders to ensure that the business applications are configured to meet the needs of the client.
Communicate with people with different levels of technical knowledge, develop solutions to functional problems and transform abstract ideas into easily understood procedures.
Document support procedures and knowledge-based documents and establish business processes for applications.
Perform daily system checks, monitor, and respond to trouble tickets.
Create, Configure, maintain Process automation workflows and automated tasks using Power Automate.
Create, Configure, maintain Applications and Power pages using Power Apps.
Connect and maintain Data Integration in the Power Platform for SQL Server, SharePoint and APIs.
Programming knowledge of T-SQL for data extraction and report writing to create SSRS reports and PowerShell/ Python for ETL scripts to support various business needs.
Create, maintain, and schedule jobs that provide timely data for users reports.
Maintain system interfaces and data transmission to client comply with policies and standards
Ensure application security, manage environment compliance, and train end-users.
Support and maintain mission critical cloud-based applications.
Be on call (potentially nights, weekends, and holidays) to coordinate solutions for the primary applications' support incidents that require immediate action.
Must haves:
Two years of Business Analysis and documenting skills.
Two years (or more) of development experience in PowerApps, PowerAutomate/ SharePoint.
Two years (or more) of experience in cloud-based application support.
One year (or more) of experience in MSSQL Database functionality.
Analyze systems and procedures accurately, logically, and implement improvements.
