Job description

Role: Power Platform Developer
Location/s: Detroit, MI / Mt Laurel, NJ / Raleigh, NC (Day 1 Onsite)
Job Type: Contract

Job Summary: QCPA development
  • Power Platform Developer with experience in compliance to design, develop, and implement solutions that enhance regulatory adherence and streamline compliance processes.
  • The ideal candidate will leverage Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) to support a tactical interim data solution on the Microsoft PowerApps ecosystem.
  • The goal of this initiative is to rapidly ingest Excel-based planning artifacts and enable curated, governed, and interactive decision support for business stakeholders.
  • This role is critical to enabling management visibility and CRUD-level interaction with key data elements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Curate structured Excel workbooks into a governed backend (Dataverse or Azure SQL) using ETL tools (preferred: Alteryx or similar).
  • Build and maintain CRUD-enabled PowerApps interfaces to support business editing of plan/capacity/test inventory data with embedded validation rules.
  • Implement workflow automations using Power Automate (e.g., file drops, refresh triggers, email routing).
  • Develop Power BI dashboards that provide real-time insights into business metrics (Plan vs. Actual, Capacity Forecasts, etc.).
  • Support ad hoc data transformations, mappings, and reference lookups to ensure interactive readiness.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to iterate business logic, source mapping, and UI/UX of interim tooling.
  • Ensure all curated datasets meet internal governance, auditability, and refresh cadence standards.
Qualifications:
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate).
  • Proven experience in transforming Excel-based planning inputs into interactive business applications.
  • Working knowledge of Alteryx, Azure Data Factory, or other ingestion/ETL tools.
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks and compliance considerations.
  • Experience integrating Power Platform apps with Azure SQL, Dataverse, or other structured backends.
