  • Own the reliability, operability, and documentation of platform services.
  • Improve observability through monitoring, dashboards, alerts, telemetry, and operational runbooks.
  • Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and platform reliability improvements.
  • Reduce recurring operational work through automation, self-service tooling, and standardized solutions.

  • Repository standards, onboarding tooling, and developer self-service capabilities
  • Leverage approved AI-assisted engineering tools, including GitHub Copilot and OpenAI Codex, to improve engineering quality, automation, and documentation.

Scalability, Performance & Governance
  • Identify and address reliability, scalability, performance, and operational risks across shared services.
  • Improve platform resilience through automation, standardization, and service health visibility.
  • Support cloud cost optimization through efficient architecture, lifecycle management, tagging, and right-sizing practices.

Technical Leadership
  • Lead technical design discussions and mentor engineers on platform engineering best practices.
  • Influence platform architecture, CI/CD standards, source control practices, automation, and engineering quality across teams.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Software Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, Enterprise Architecture, and Operations teams.
  • Drive platform maturity through reusable standards, documentation, templates, and implementation guidance.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Core Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), systems engineering, or related technical roles.

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively across engineering, architecture, security, operations, and business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and collaboration within complex enterprise environments.
  • Ability to influence technical direction, platform standards, and engineering best practices without formal authority.

  • Experience building CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions or similar pipeline technologies.
  • Experience supporting enterprise source control platforms, including repository governance, branching strategies, and workflow standards.
  • Ability to create clear technical documentation, standards, and operational runbooks.

Preferred Qualifications
